England - Yorkshire Dales to Lake District

Bolton Castle is still in private ownership of Lord Bolton who is a direct descendent of the original owner Sir Richard Le Scrope. As we left we passed this dragon carved out of an old tree stump. A chainsaw artist created it in 2013 but nature is reclaiming it slowly.
